Next you need to cut a piece of plastic to make a new end plate for the
casing. You can use an old cassette tape box or a coffee jar
lid or anything else you have lying around. If you make it
just slightly too tall then the casing screws will clamp it in place
and you wont need to glue it in.
Drill a six millimetre hole in the centre to accommodate the wires.
Connect red and black wires to the outer pins of the three pin connector you bought from Ebay (use pliers to crimp these) and solder into the holes shown after threading through the new end plate.
